
DJ Scenick got his start in the Music Entertainment Industry after relocating to South Lake Tahoe in 2012. He started his DJ career at Opal Night Club as an Audio Visual Technician during which time he began his DJ apprenticeship under a team of the areas most respected DJs.
DJ Scenick has since become one of the area's most sought after DJs and has held a number of long term residencies at major venues including Opal Night Club, Hard Rock Casino Tahoe, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Beach Retreat Day Club Heavenly Mountain Resort, Brew Brother's Reno, Aura Night Club, and Novi Night Club. DJ Scenick also had the pleasure of running the Nightlife Entertainment Program for Aleworx in Tahoe which consists of 5 venues and a team of 18 DJs.
DJ Scenick also plays a number of private events and weddings throughout the year and is the preferred Special Events DJ for Round Hill Pines Resort, Tahoe Lifestyles & Leisure, and Jack Daniel's Annual Reno Rodeo Event. His style is open format DJing meaning he plays all genres of music, all BPM ranges, smooth transitioning, and mixes live with no pre-recorded sets.
Outside of DJing, DJ Scenick holds an Applied Science Degree in the field of Criminal Justice Technology. He specializes in Bio-Chem testing and works as a Forensic Toxicologist for the Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing.
DJ Scenick is a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division ano served on multiple combat and humanitarian relief missions in Iraq, Haiti, Egypt and stateside in New Orleans following the devastation left in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. During his service he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, Senior Rated Jumpmaster, and was awarded the Prestigious Audie Murphy Medal reserved for the top 2% of Non-Commissioned Officers in the
