I've been personally working with Amplified Entertainment for quite some time now. They provide any and every service I could think of and more. Coming from ILoveKickboxing it's been a blessing to be a part of a business that also gives back to the community. Being able to visit the childrens hospital sending love and smiles to those in need. I was referred to Amplified Entertainment from a close relative who has worked with them before. I was in contact with Ken. He worked with a few vendors in Hawaii, where I was getting married.
I had no idea how important the DJ was until I started talking to him. He was really professional and super knowledgable on EVERYTHING! Half the stuff he brought up, didn't even cross my mind. He basically became my wedding reception planner. Along with emailing a list of special song he needed, he recommended songs. I specifically wanted songs to be cut short for the father/daughter dance and first dance because my dad and husband don't like attention and he cut them short to where it still sounded good not just cut and stopped. He also took care of the songs that played during my video montage, let me tell you, he did an amazing job! He took care of speaking with my wedding planner and equipment vendors to talk about what he needed so I did not have to be a middle person.
He had the perfect playlist for me, where everyone had a great time! I forgot to mention he was also the MC for the night and he was awesome. He has a nice microphone voice. It's not annoying, it perfect tone and he annunciated to where everyone could hear and understand him.
I highly recommend using Ken of Amplified Entertainment. He gave me a reasonable price and worked with me with what I needed and what he needed to make my wedding reception, the best ever!

Ken is the best! I have had the pleasure of working with him for a special fundraising event. He provides the best DJ, sound equipment and party planning in the Tahoe area. I would recommend this business to anybody!

Ken and the Amplified team are by far the best company in Reno/Sparks!! They go out of their way to help their customers and make sure their show is the best at all costs. No matter it takes they get the job done. I needed some help with a fundraiser and I had not one but THREE DJ's from Amplified come DJ and help. I just couldn't believe the LOVE that was shown with just that! Ken will make sure his customers are treated right and taken care of in a professional manner. Every club Amplified DJ's in they just kill it every time!! I have been around numerous DJ's and events and Ken and his crew ROCK the show EVERY SINGLE time!! They become like family and I love that!! These guys are no longer just my friends, they are family and they are willing to treat ANY person just the same. If you need an entertainment service for ANY event your BEST call would be to Amplified Entertainment!! You will not be sorry!! Thank you Amplified for everything you do!! 🙂

Best DJ ever! We first met DJ Ken during Heavenly's menu tasting. He was the DJ there for the day. That right there should be a big tip off that he knows what he is doing. That day he played a great set list, something for everyone and tasteful, not easy to do with a big group of strangers there just to eat. Anyways, my soon to be wife (at the time) and I enjoyed him so much that we ended up dancing during the menu tasting. We knew we were booking him for our wedding for sure.
Cut to 8 months later when we actually met with Ken and it couldn't have been easier. He asked us questions we asked him questions and by the end of it he had worked up a rough timeline for the events of the big day, which is unbelievably helpful.
The big day: literally could not have gone any better! He had everything set up for us including uplighting and dance floor light show. The music was on point and you can't find a better emcee! He seamlessly flows through the timeline, through wedding party speeches, first dances, and bouquet toss. Honestly a master with a mic. The tunes were perfect too! We were afraid that people wouldn't dance and that fear was swept away. He had people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. The place was partying so much, I was really glad we got an extra hour from the venue, because it was still hard to shut it down at 11pm!
Anyways, if you're still reading this, stop procrastinating and book Ken, he really is the best. And Ken, if you're reading this, thank you for working with us and being so awesome rhe whole way through. You made our special day more than we ever imagined it could be.

Absolutely recommend Ken and crew for any of your DJ or emcee needs! They are so professional, easy to work with and took any stress off of us on our big day by taking care of everything. Everything went so smoothly- the ceremony music, cocktail hour, grand entrances/dinner, speeches and of course dancing! Very fun, helpful and professional, we loved Amplified Entertainment on our wedding day!
